John has had a long career so far—40 years in business and technology. During that time, he’s been a computer programmer, project manager, Chief Information Office, consultant, business coach, executive recruiter, entrepreneur, writer, and author.
He spent the first 23 years of those 40 years working for several big companies. The last 17 he’s happily worked for himself as an independent management consultant. Having his own consulting business allows John to work from anywhere. He usually works from his house but can also work from a café’ or on vacation or even not work at all. In 2010, John wrote and published his first book, a leadership book called “Haunting the CEO.” Over the last two years, he wrote and published two more books. “Unselling” is a “sales” book for shy and introverted entrepreneurs, and his latest work is a western novel set in the wild west days of the United States.
John is now looking forward to writing more and working less. Personally, John and his wife Jill live on a small farm in Washington State, with their lazy cat, Kenzie.
