Leila Boukarim was born in Lebanon, raised in several countries, and recently moved to Berlin after eight years in Singapore.

She spends her time writing stories that inspire empathy and encourage meaningful discussions between children and caregivers.

She has self- published two picture books for Highly Sensitive Children and published more work with Marshall Cavendish, Penguin Random House SEA, and Chronicle Books.
